JULY 8 COMEDIANS:

STEVE GILLESPIE has recently appeared on CONAN and  Amazon Prime’s Inside Joke. His last album, Alive on State, reached #1 on the iTunes comedy charts. Gillespie’s act a is a slaphappy balance of aggression and absurdity, coupled with a delightfully pushy persona that has earned him spots at some of the best festivals in country including Gilda’s Laughfest, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Festival, 10k Laughs, and High Plains Comedy Festival in Denver, CO. Steve has also had the pleasure of sharing the biggest stages with some of the best comics in the country, including opening appearances for Dave Attell, Jim Breuer, Tom Segura, Kyle Kinnane, Tom Green, Harland Williams, Doug Benson, Emo Phillips, and Gilbert Gottfried.

KARA CORACI, also known as “Crotchie,” is a high energy standup comedian, improvisational artist, and public speaker who currently makes her home in Detroit. Critics refer to Crotchie as a “Firecracker!” and a “Squirrel on coffee!” In her routines, this little nut addresses social taboos and everyday hardships, from step parenting and alcohol abuse to Facebook mishaps. Crotchie’s wide range of talents has brought her to stages all over the U.S. including Chicago, Orlando, Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Detroit, and Milwaukee. Not only is she a performer, Kara has an extensive background in event and television production. She has worked on production teams for popular companies such as The Walt Disney Company, NBC's The Jerry Springer Show, Studio Smithy Inc, Red Frog Events, Nude Hippo and Oakland University Television. Kara has produced hundreds of events from monthly variety shows, comedy shows, art battles, street festivals, 5k races, and charity events. Her passion for the arts, entertainment, and life is quite obvious from the energy she exudes on stage.

TAHEERA HARRIS is Denver-based comedienne originally from Monroe, LA. She has traveled the world for six years opening for comedians including Michael Coulyar, Kounty Wayne, and TK Kirkland, and she performs regularly throughout the Denver metro. LISA LANE is an overeducated goofball who finds the funny in the balancing act of parenting teenagers, becoming single at age 50, and navigating the chin hairs and wrinkles on her very own face. She is a regular host, feature, and mother figure in the Denver comedy scene and recently hosted for Steve Rannazzisi, Gina Brillon, and Shanell Renee. Lisa is the author of Teenagers Suck and Beyond Mama Bear as well as a voiceover actor. Her real-life misadventures have recently been deemed “grossly adorable” by comedian and podcast host Dan Cummins, which makes Lisa feel both seen and heard. lisalanefilholm.com beyondmamabear.com
