ABOUT ABOUT

Life is crazy. Let's laugh again! Join us (every Friday) in Ironton's beautiful heated tent for craft cocktails, delicious food, and some of the region's funniest comedians.

Seating opens at 6:00; show begins at 6:30. Limited seats available.

Masks required for entrance (you can remove them at your table) and social distancing enforced. The show will go on in any weather!

Bring non-perishable food donations for Bienvenido Food Bank to be entered in a drawing for door prizes (because we love our audience--and our community--like that).

February 26 Comics:

DERRICK STROUP is an Alabama native, but he’s not your average slow-talking Southerner. With the cadence of a pissed off auctioneer, he locks people in with his detailed stories and over-the-top energy. Since moving to Denver in 2015, Derrick has become a regular at several clubs around the region. The 2019 winner of Comedy Works’ legendary New Faces Competition, Derrick has opened for Frank Caliendo, Ron White and Josh Blue, among others. Derrick loves a Waffle House that's clean and cares about its customers.

APPLES has been performing both stand up and improv comedy for 13 years. He has been seen on HBO’s Vice Principals, The National Geographic Channel’s Doomsday Preppers, All Hallows Eve on Netflix, and television commercials for clients including including Mt. Dew. He has been heard on the RISK! Podcast with Kevin Allison, the Doug Loves Movies Podcast with Doug Benson, and regularly on The Howard Stern Show.

ALEC FLYNN hails from Boston and since 2019 has established himself as one of the breakthrough stars of Denver comedy. He hosts a bi-weekly showcase at Improper City and hosts the podcast Transplants, about the trials of a wicked-average twenty-something navigating a new city. Follow him on IG: @bigalflynn for clips and funny videos. Trust us, Alec is a fun guy.

LISA LANE, your host, is an overeducated goofball who finds the funny in the balancing act of parenting teenagers, becoming single at age 50, and navigating the chin hairs and wrinkles on her very own face. She is a regular host, feature, and mother figure in the Denver comedy scene, the author of Teenagers Suck and Beyond Mama Bear, and a voiceover actor. Her real-life misadventures have recently been deemed “grossly adorable” by comedian and podcast host Dan Cummins, which makes Lisa feel both seen and heard. lisalanefilholm.com beyondmamabear.com
