SEPTEMBER 30 COMEDIANS

SHANAE ROSS was a Finalist in the 2019 New Faces Competition at Denver's legendary Comedy Works. With engaging charm, a snazzy fashion sense, and personable storytelling ability, she has delighted audiences at festivals such as the High Plains Comedy Festival (2018) and 50 First Jokes (2018). While fluent in the language of comedy, her inability to speak “parent” does not hold her back from watching a kid or two and making their parents laugh. With support from both her full-time and part-time dads, Shanae draws her audience in with her light hearted and happy energy.

DONELLE PRADO was a finalist on Nick at Nite's Funniest Mom in America and is a regular at Comedy Works and the Denver Improv, where she’s opened for Sebastian Maniscalco, Tony Rock, Paul Mooney, Felipe Esparza, and Bruce Bruce, among others. She was featured nationally on Hot Tamales Live with Eva Longoria, as well as on Inside Joke and Latino Laugh Festival: The Show on SiTV.  Donelle is also a performer for Murder Mystery USA and is will soon be on national tour with Crazy Woke Asians, a comedy troupe dedicated to bringing awareness to social justice issues through humor. Donelle has appeared at The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, The Improv, and The Ice House in L.A., and has shared the stage with George Lopez, Dane Cook, Pablo Francisco, and Carlos Mencia. Her corporate comedy appearances include shows for Coca-Cola, The US Postal Service, Latin American Law Enforcement Association, City and County of Denver, CRESA Partners, Estylo Magazine, St. Mary’s Academy, and the Colorado School of Mines.

KOREY DAVID is a psychedelic-loving ex-Mormon who draws his comedy from growing up as the angsty middle child in an ultra-conservative household. In addition to touring the country for standup, he's a published writer in beer magazines PorchDrinking.com and True Brew. You can catch him in an episode of Adult Swim's Spaghetti High and the documentary Social Dilemma on  Netflix.

JEFF NELSON is a comedian from Denver by way of Kansas City. In 2017 Jeff won The Kansas City Comedy Festival and has also advanced to the semifinals of the Comedy Works New Faces Contest. LA comedian blog writer Nichole Force writes: “It’s his unique take on reality that sets Jeff apart. He’s looking at the same world as the rest of us, but through far different, far edgier, and far funnier lenses.”

LISA LANE is an overeducated goofball who finds the funny in the balancing act of parenting teenagers, becoming single at age 50, and navigating the chin hairs and wrinkles on her very own face. She is a regular host, feature, and mother figure in the Denver comedy scene and recently hosted for Steve Rannazzisi, Gina Brillon, Steve Gillespie, and the MLB All-Star Game 5K. Lisa is the author of Teenagers Suck and Beyond Mama Bear as well as a voiceover actor. Her real-life misadventures have recently been deemed “grossly adorable” by comedian and podcast host Dan Cummins, which makes Lisa feel both seen and heard. beyondmamabear.com lisalanefilholm.com
