No masks required for our guests who have been vaccinated.

SEPTEMBER 16 COMEDIANS:

STEPHANIE McHUGH, a regular at the legendary Comedy Works, has also appeared on television's America's Funniest Mom and The Steve and Stephanie Morning Show on KOOL 105 in Denver. She was invited to perform at the Great American Comedy Festival and is a co-founder of the MentalPause Comedy Show. When Stephanie isn’t performing comedy on cruise ships (which, sadly, was most of 2020), she is a humor coach for entrepreneurs and speakers, helping them use comedy to connect with their audience. Since her days in radio, Stephanie also records voiceover projects out of her home studio.

SAMMY ANZER comes to Denver comedy fresh off the streets of Queens, NY. Some call him @BadboyAnzer; some call him a visual representation of the 'other' ethnicity box. Sammy’s first comedic appearance was at JHS 157, where he successfully ruined 80 class periods of Earth Science. Since then he has appeared on Kevin Hart’s LOL Network, The Comedy Radio Station 103.1, the web series Comedians Doing Stuff in Denver, and jail (twice). Sammy was also a finalist in the 2019 New Faces competition at Denver’s Comedy Works.

ETHAN EVERHART is a regular funny figure in the midwest and Colorado comedy scenes. He hails from Iowa but now makes Denver his home. His comedy has been described by our host Lisa Lane as “smart and oddly loveable,” while his mother’s review is, “very handsome.” Ethan’s girlfriend could not be reached for any comment whatsoever.

PIPER SHEPHERD is a queer stand-up comedian who hails from the high streets of Denver, Colorado. Born in Memphis, Tennessee and raised in the deep south, Piper has a unique grit and a bizarre, observational sense of humor. She started performing in 2014 and has been featured on comedy festivals such as High Plains Comedy Festival, Portland Queer Comedy Festival, and Savage Henry. One part rebel without a cause, and two parts psychedelic loony toon, she has developed an act that speaks truth to the power of shenanigans. She is the founder of the Vibe Patrol Comedy Hour and you can count on her quick wit to keep audiences hanging loose in any environment.

LISA LANE (your host) is an overeducated goofball who finds the funny in the balancing act of parenting teenagers, becoming single at age 50, and navigating the chin hairs and wrinkles on her very own face. She is a regular host, feature, and mother figure in the Denver comedy scene and recently hosted for Steve Rannazzisi, Gina Brillon, and Shanell Renee. Lisa is the author of Teenagers Suck and Beyond Mama Bear as well as a voiceover actor. Her real-life misadventures have recently been deemed “grossly adorable” by comedian and podcast host Dan Cummins, which makes Lisa feel both seen and heard. lisalanefilholm.com beyondmamabear.com
